On November 19, 2021, the National University of Civil Engineering (NUCE) solemnly held a ceremony to celebrate 65 years of training, 55 years of establishment (1956-1966-2021), announced the decision to rename the school and receive the Government's Emulation Flag. The ceremony was held online and streamed on the Fanpage (https://www.facebook.com/truongdhxaydung) of the University, attracting the attention of generations of officials, lecturers and students, domestic and foreign partners.

Over the years, thanks to solid foundation as tradition and great achievements achieved during the first half-century of formation and development, educators and learners of the University of Civil Engineering continues to promote the sense of responsibility, innovation, quality and efficiency in association with international integration, which results in increase in rank and prestige of the University. NUCE has been affirmed to a new level. In the context of deeper international integration, increasingly high-quality requirements for human resources, increasingly fierce competition in education and training, strong development of science and technology in the 4th industrial revolution, The University is well aware of opportunities and challenges. It sets the goal to promote development strategy to 2030, vision to 2045 and has identified objectives, tasks, strategic solutions and implementation roadmap in order to become a regional research university.
